​2017 ABSTRACT GUIDELINES:

The topics for the Annual Meeting included :
- Dementia
- Movement Disorders
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
- Psychiatry
- Neuroinflammation
- Tau imaging
- PET-MR
- Others
 
Accepted abstracts are assigned to be presented as either an oral presentation or poster.

Win one of the 5 awards.
The 5 awards will be given to the first author and presenter of the best original abstracts submitted, according to the scores given by the Scientific Committee.
The recipient should not be older than 40 years.
Submission for the ECCN Prize: 
- Cannot be already published at the time of submission.
- Cannot be under consideration for an award by another organization.
- Cannot be presented at a meeting before the 2017 ECCN annual meeting.

1st place : a 500,00 Euros award and free registration to the 2017 ECCN
2nd place : a 500,00 Euros award and free

3rd to 5th place :  free

Online Submission
Abstracts must be submitted via the online submission system on this web site. Please review abstract information before you begin a submission.
Please carefully review your abstract prior to finalizing your submission. You must click “Save and Complete” for the abstract to be submitted.
If you do not click “Save and Complete” on the final submission screen, the abstract is not considered submitted and will not be reviewed.

Instructions for the submission of abstract
- Abstract should contain original and not previously published data
- The abstract text must be no more than 300 words (excluding title and authors’ information);
- Titles are limited to 150 characters.
- Abstracts are to be submitted via the Internet at www.eucoccn.com
- Abstracts should be submitted in English
- Please review your abstract submission prior to clicking “save and complete” to verify that information was entered correctly and text was not truncated.
- Do not use use charts, graphs or tables in your abstracts must include the following four areas:
Introduction : A brief statement regarding the purpose of the study and the current state of
research in the field.
Methods : The method(s) of study or experimental approach must be briefly defined.
Results : A summary of the study results, including sufficient details to support those conclusions must be described.
Conclusions : A statement explaining the significance of the work and its implications for further research.

Abstract Selection Process
Submitted abstracts will undergo a peer review process by members of the scientific committee. To minimize subjectivity in the scoring process, any reviewer with a conflict of interest will be excluded from scoring the abstract in question.
In the final rankings, mean score and standard deviation will be calculated, and the reviewers' scores will be anonymous.
The type of presentation (oral or poster) choice selected during the submission process is a request only. The accepted format is at the discretion of the scientific committee

Acceptance of Abstracts
Compliance with all stated conditions including adherence to the deadline is required.
Acknowledgement of receipt of completed abstracts will be sent via email upon submission.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to determine acceptance of an abstract and the right to determine the presentation form.
The Organizing Committee will notify authors of acceptance and form of presentation via email.
All presenters of selected abstracts (oral and electronic posters) are required to register and pay the appropriate registration fees for the corresponding meeting. Individuals submitting abstracts agree that if their abstract is accepted, they will attend the meeting and present their abstract as scheduled. Once an abstract has been accepted and scheduled for presentation, it cannot be withdrawn.
